After the success of Season 1 to Season 17, the popular show known as Pitbulls and Parolees is back with the 18th season. Unlike the previous seasons that were aired on Animal Planet, this one will be aired on Discovery Channel. Aside from the Discovery Channel, it will also be aired on Discovery+.
According to the official website of Animal Planet, the full episodes of Season 8 of Pitbulls and Parolees include five episodes. Here is the list of each episode included in this season:

- Summary: In this episode, the crew of Villalobos Rescue Center is on a mission to catch a runaway dog on the streets of New Orleans. The same episode also features of a story of a new family who wants a new furry family member. There is also a story of a paralyzed puppy named Polly that is taken to a vet to get treated. In addition, one of the casts, Mariah, pitches a fundraising idea to the parolees.

- Summary: In this episode, it is shown that Villalobos Rescue Center reaches its limit when a few rescues, including Lizzy and Toney, go to the remote part of the city with the mission to save a total of three orphaned dogs in a dire state. Not only that, there is also a sad story of a veteran tenant named Lil Rocky that faces a cancer scare.

- Summary: This episode features a story of a mother of two named Lizzy who leans on Tia Torres (the founder of Villalobos Rescue Center) to help find a balance between work and life. The second story featured in this episode is about a couple from California who wants to adopt a dog that will be comfortable in the pool. In the edge of the episode, it shows Mariah who is in a mission to save an injured dog. It is really interesting as it leads her to something that is totally unexpected.

- Summary: In this episode, Tia gives a hybrid wolf dog at a Mississippi shelter a second chance. Meanwhile, one of the team members who is at the vet, Lizzy, is forced to make a tough call for a new resident of Villalobos Rescue Center. Then, she helps a couple of hearing impaired canines. Aside from these stories, there is also a thing about a man from California who visits the rescue center in hope to find a furry friend.

- Name: Change on the Horizon
- First Aired: May 22, 2021 at 21:00
- Runtime: 120 minutes
- Summary: This episode shows Tia who has to change her plan to handle the flooding at the Claiborne Warehouse as a hurricane is about to hit the city of New Orleans. On the brighter news, there are M2 and Kanani who rush to prepare for the baby number two. The show ends with Tia and Tania who are on the mission to rescue and have to change the mission.
In addition to these five episodes, there is one special episode that is included in Season 18 of Pitbulls and Parolees. The name of the special episode is Behind the Camera. This one was aired on May 29, 2021.

- Summary: Due to the current pandemic, both Tia and Mariah are forced to shut down their restaurant and boutique. It is a new beginning for them. On the brighter news, there is a senior canine that finally finds a forever home.

- Summary: Tia, Tania, Kanani, and Keli’i are back to Texas after successfully rescuing a total of 30 hybrid wolf dogs. In the French Quarter, Tia is forced to shut down her restaurant. Meanwhile, Toney and Earl once again team up to deliver meals to the elderly using Tahyo Tavern’s resources.
